Saved From The Streets (Sudan)

sudangroup_lgFor Sudan’s street boys the challenge every day is simply to survive. Faced with danger and destitution, they survive through begging, stealing or prostituting themselves.

OM’s partner aid agency Operation Mercy runs centres that provide safety, security and a sense of belonging, along with nutritional food, medical care and education.

Santo Joseph’s Story

Just ten years old, Santo Joseph was malnourished and ill when he arrived at the Operation Mercy centre. With his father in jail and his mother dead, he had no-one to turn to. Staff helped find one of his brothers and together the two are flourishing in the centre’s stable and loving environment.

Just £250 can rescue a boy from violence and crime on the streets of Sudan.
